I can’t think of a better day than today, the Friday before Valentine’s Day, to kick off the most diverse website in Corporate America’s history, dedicated to the office jailed working male.

No matter if you are a guy with a wife or serious girlfriend, or just a bachelor running through the field like Reggie Bush returning a punt, the last thing you are thinking about is “what special thing you will do this weekend”.  We are immersed with our office jobs and more serious things like; what sale we are trying to close, or what our boss is going to see on our monthly reviews.  Who am I kidding? Everyone knows the only thing we are concerned with is how we continuously run out of articles to read online, or what happy hour we are going to attend tonight.  The real issues that occupy the mind of the corporate man.

This website is dedicated to the man that has exhausted all of his options regarding online sports, stocks, news and politics, and wants to broaden their horizon to the interests and lives of other men in situations similar to their own.

TheMundaneMale.com will deliver stories and opinions from various people throughout the country on a wide range of different topics.  East-coast bias, west-coast bias, any bias you can think of, will be delivered.  This site will offer entertainment 24 hours a day seven days a week, but will focus on the needs of the office sitting- 7-5 working male.

About me… I am a twenty-four year old male that has graduated with a Master’s degree, and found myself working at a physician recruiting firm waiting and waiting to get into medical school.  I have never been clearer about wanting to go to medical school, than I am right now.  I work 7-5 in a corporate setting that has to answer to a boss who has a boss who has another boss.  We are graded on numbers, that as of recently, have surfaced to be completely arbitrary, and find myself staring at a computer screen 10 hours a day.  I have clients I have to deal with, but mostly find myself surfing the internet for the newest news story, or watching my stocks dribble up and down a few pennies every hour (mostly down in this economy).  Who wants to sit through this the rest of their life? Not I… but for the time being, I am stuck, and I like making a good buck.  I decided to start this website due to the everyday occurrence of running out of exciting things to read.
